The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NOC) is talking with Norwegian and regional authorities to investigate a possible 2016 Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, said a press release.
According to the press release the NOC Executive Board said it will have to speak to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Norwegian political authorities by June 15 to see if there is a basis for a formal application for a governmental financial guarantee covering any potential economic shortfall.
