David Grevemberg has been appointed chief executive of the Glasgow 2014 humbled” by the chance to lead the team in charge of organizing the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
His appointment begins immediately. Commonwealth Games. Grevemberg has been acting head since John Scott’s resignation.
Thirty four people had applied for the position and a shortlist of seven was drawn up.
Grevemberg said he was “humbled” by the chance to lead the team in charge of organizing the mammoth sporting event.
