More London 2012 tickets will be made available starting January 2012.

The second round of sales begin June 24 and will be open to people who applied in the initial application phase that took place March 15 to April 26, but were not allotted any tickets.

Those who received tickets in the first round of sales will get another chance to purchase tickets in the second round from July 8 to July 17.

Second round tickets will be available for 44 medal events.

1.5 million tickets will be priced at 50 pounds or less, and more than half a million of those tickets will be 20 pounds or less. Sixty sessions with special prices are still available – 33 for football and 27 in other sports.

The second round of ticket sales will be on a first come, first served basis. Applicants will be notified whether their requests for tickets have been successful between 24 and 48 hours after the request has been submitted.

The demand for tickets has been greatest for the Opening Ceremony, Athletics, Track Cycling, Swimming, and Artistic Gymnastics.
