Catalina Ramirez, President of the Bogota 2015 Pan American Games bid, will be an observer at the Olympic Congress of the International Olympic Committee in Copenhagen.
Ramirez said, “it is an opportunity to get to know first-hand the methodology used in making these type of elections, that not only involve sports but also culture, tourism, and the economics of a nation, as Bogota itself prepares for the announcement of the chosen site for the 2015 Pan American Games”.
Bogota 2015 says it has 95 per cent of the sports disciplines proposed to take place within a radius of no more than three kilometres, a solid sports infrastructure already in place, and the commitment of the entire country to organize the 2015 Pan American Games.
