The “Rio 2007 Debriefing Seminar”, which Rio 2016 hopes to learn from as it bids for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, opened in Rio de Janeiro Monday and ends on Saturday

The objective of the Seminar is to present experience acquired by hosting the Pan America and Parapan American Games and transfer this knowledge to sports and event organizing bodies.

It is a demonstration of maturity and planning for us to win the bid to host the 2016 Olympic Games”.
