The Bogota Bid Committee for the 2015 Pan Am Games congratulated Rio de Janeiro for winning its 2016 Summer Olympic Games bid.
Bogota 2015 said in a press release it wishes the entire Rio 2016 delegation the best so that they will hold an excellent Games which for the first time in history will take place on the South American continent.
Bid officials said, “congratulations to all the people of Brazil for being chosen the centre of world sport!”
