Tokyo 2016 has two new sponsors and Baku 2016 has a new website.
All Nippon Airways and the East Japan Railway Company are now two official partners of the Tokyo 2016 Summer Olympic Games bid.
The two new sponsors are in addition to six other partners – Asics, Descente, Yahoo Japan, TBC Group, Otsuka Corporation and Japan Airlines.
All Nippon Railways (ANA) is one of the largest carriers in the Asia-Pacific region and is an official partner of, and official airline partner of the Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC).
East Japan Railway Company is the largest railway company in eastern Japan.
Meanwhile Baku 2016 launched a completely revised website Tuesday – www.2016baku.org.
In the new design the home page offers what Baku 2016 calls “important and interesting” information on the bid, sports planning and history.
There are also supporting statements about Baku’s 2016 bid by Azerbaijani personalities.
